About Us
P233Q serves over 560 students, including 147 English Language Learners (ELLs), in grades K–12, ages 4–22. Our students attend one of ten sites across Queens. Seven sites are located within community schools, and three are housed in self‑contained buildings. Across these ten sites, we now operate three elementary schools, four middle schools—including our newly opened middle school this year—and three high schools. In addition, two of our high schools offer inclusion programs.
We take pride in our diverse student body, which encompasses a wide range of instructional settings, including 12:1:4, 12:1:1, 6:1:1, 8:1:1, and inclusion classes. Our students represent multiple disability classifications, such as autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, social‑emotional disabilities, speech and language impairments, and sensory impairments.
Our instructional programs focus on individualized, data‑driven teaching that supports communication, functional academics, social‑emotional development, and preparation for post‑secondary and vocational pathways. Students receive a full range of related services, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, and assistive technology supports. We also partner with community organizations, therapeutic providers, and vocational programs to enrich learning experiences both inside the classroom and within the broader community.

P233Q’s Vision is to Maximize Educational Experiences and Vocational Opportunities for all Learners.
